I’m Brittany and this is my first official blog post! FINALLY! This has been long overdue, but here I am! Whoever is reading, you can get to know a little bit about me in this post. First of all, I come from Georgia where the peaches grow, they drink lemonade and speak real slow (and yes, I did just quote an LFO song). I now live in the good ol’ small town of Powhatan, Virginia. This past May I graduated from Longwood University and received my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, concentrating in Photography. I also minored in Communication Studies.Those past 4 years at Longwood were some of the best, but I am also very excited for the future! I will be pursuing my small photography business (more info on this in a later blog post!) I have a wonderful and completely supportive family and I am so blessed to have all my family so close to me. I am a big sister to both Erin (12)

and Marisa (9).

For 10 years I was an only child and I thought I would be forever, but now I wouldn’t have it any other way! I also have two adorable pups…Freddie

and Lucky.

I’m a total foodie and I always love trying new foods (and wine!)…I’ve also found a love for photographing food. I love to travel and can’t wait to see where I’ll wind up in the future. I love being at the river and going kayaking (except that one time I decided to kayak 10 miles…seemed like a good idea at the time). We go to the Outer Banks every year…it’s one of my favorite places to be! I don’t drink coffee…but I love tea. For the time being I am a waitress at Erin’s Village Eatery. For those of you in or near Powhatan come by and say hi! Whoever stopped by to read my first post today…thank you so much and I hope you’ll be back for more! I can’t wait to venture into this new phase of my life. I am very excited about photographing more and blogging more about my life and my photography!
