Branding ME

Today I thought I’d share the direction I’m thinking about going with my branding. Branding is hard because you are branding yourself and sometimes it’s hard to figure out YOU. I’ve really had to think about what I like and what best describes me and makes my brand unique. Promise Tangeman is a great resource for all things design and I love following her! After talking with Katelyn during my coaching session and reading Promise’s blog I’ve narrowed down colors, textures, and a possible icon. Mustard yellow has been my favorite for a while now and I definitely want to incorporate that in some how! Instead of making it my main color I’m thinking of using it as an accent color.

Colors:

  • mustard yellow
  • blue/gray
  • white & tan
  • gold

I’m still kind of all over the place but these are just my thoughts so far. I’m actually meeting with a designer next Sunday to help me create my brand! I cannot wait!!!

Textures:

  • linen
  • cork – I’m actually leaning more towards this texture!

I’ve been thinking of a possible icon to go along with my Brittany Claud Photography logo. I knew I wanted to incorporate my initial in somehow…I just didn’t know exactly what to do. Then I came across the initial wax seal necklaces I had pinned a while ago on Pinterest. I really like this idea of having a B wax seal…just a simplified version of it. Like I said these are all just thoughts and all things things could totally change once I meet with my designer.

Here’s my Branding board I made on Pinterest

Hopefully this board can help you visualize what I’m talking about and the direction I’m thinking about. I would love to hear your thoughts and feedbacks on my ideas!

Today I am off to DC to visit one of my best friends from school, Colleen! (You might remember her from my styled bridal shoot) It will be a mini-vacation…I’ll be back Friday but I can’t wait to see her and take a tiny break! Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!
