Lauren and Mike were married at the beautiful chapel at the University of Richmond. I don’t think I ever saw a smile leave Lauren’s face the entire day. She was so happy to be marrying Mike and it was so clear he felt just the same way. Lauren wore her mother’s dress and veil which I absolutely loved! She had the dress altered a little bit but it still resembled her mother’s dress beautifully. The first time Lauren’s mom saw her dress was on the wedding day and I’m so happy I was able to capture that special moment for them. I love when brides and grooms incorporate pieces of their family into their wedding day whether it be the dress itself or photos. Lauren and Mike chose to have a first look with one another and Mike completely lit up the very moment he saw her. There were so many sweet moments throughout their entire day like Lauren and her best friend Jess jumping on the bed in excitement then later singing on stage together at the reception. Lauren’s two brothers walked her down the aisle towards her husband. I was so completely happy to be apart of this celebration and looking back through these images makes me so happy that Lauren and Mike are now husband and wife. Congratulations Lauren and Mike!!!
