I met Colleen our sophomore year in college. We were both art majors at Longwood University and were both signed up to take an art history class in Florence, Italy during our spring break. We had never met before but were assigned roommates for our Florence trip. There was work we had to do together before our trip so we would meet up at the library and work on that together. Although, I don’t know how much work we actually got done…we quickly became each other’s first art friend. She was one of my best friends in college and is still one of my best friends today even though we don’t see each other as much. She would go on family vacations with my family in the Outer Banks and I would visit her and her family in Loudoun County. Colleen would model for me for my photography classes. We would get together to see new exhibits at the VMFA together. Colleen and I have had so many great memories and laughs together over the years! Colleen and Brandon also met at Longwood their junior year and then started dating their senior year and have been together ever since. Colleen, I love you so much and now I’m so happy you’ve been able to share more memories and laughs with Brandon and will continue to do so for many, many years! Thank you so, so much for asking me to be your wedding photographer!!! (In the cutest way possible! Colleen sent me a greetabl – with confetti and all, asking me to be her wedding photographer – if you don’t know what a greetabl is you should look it up because they’re awesome!!!) I’m BEYOND happy for you and Brandon and I’m so glad I get to capture this time in your lives! Love you both so much!!!
